Start-up Visa

After applying in these pilot programs, you’ll get an open work permit to come to Canada. With this work permit, you;

Have to work in that particular occupation
Will get work experience which is needed for permanent residence
Don’t require a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)

Live-in Caregiver Program

You can apply for permanent residence through the Live-in Caregiver Program (LCP) only if you;

Have at least two years of work experience in the LCP program
Have an LCP work permit and already working in Canada

Were approved for your LCP work permit based on an LMIA, which was submitted to Employment and Social Development Canada before or on November 30, 2014.

Self-Employed
